Swysh Den runs its own youth basketball leagues in-house, on our own courts, instead of subletting time in a school gym on somebody else's calendar. The Fall 2026 season kicks off with practices starting August 17th, and registration is open now for every division. Players of all skill levels are welcome, whether this is a first season or a tenth.
Teams are grouped by age and gender, with equipment sized to match: younger divisions play on lower rims with a smaller ball and no three-second call, while older divisions step up to a full-size setup with the key enforced.
8-foot rims, 27.5" ball, 13'6" free-throw line. No three-second violation called.
9-foot rims, 27.5" ball, 13'6" free-throw line.
10-foot rims, 28.5" ball, 15-foot free-throw line, three-second key enforced.
10-foot rims, 28.5" ball, 15-foot free-throw line, three-second key enforced.
10-foot rims, 29.5" ball, 15-foot free-throw line, three-second key enforced.
Games are played weekly on Sundays at our Scottsdale facility, with exact game times set once the schedule is finalized for each division.
Individual players can register as a free agent for $175, with an optional $50 jersey fee, and get placed on a team even without arriving with a roster already built. Swysh Den holds a Free Agent Night ahead of the season (date to be announced) where individual registrants can meet coaches and other players and help form teams together. If you can't make it, you'll still be placed on a team, no extra step required. Coaches or parents bringing a full roster can register the whole team for $999, with the same optional $50 jersey fee charged per player.
Four regular-season games minimum, followed by a playoff bracket to close out the season.
Officiating is included in the registration fee, every game, every week.
Games run two 16-minute halves, real game minutes instead of a shortened rec format.
Teams are coached by Swysh Den staff by default, so parents can sit back and watch instead of running the bench. Parents who want to coach their own child's team can do so if they hold a Positive Coaching Alliance certificate, which keeps team assignments fair and every coach on the same standard regardless of who's leading the huddle. Read more about the partnership on our Positive Coaching Alliance page.
Current Rookie, Littles, and Family membership holders can register for a league at a discount. Email admin@swyshden.com for the current promo code before you check out.
League registration fees are non-refundable. If you need to step away from a season, the fee is issued back as account credit on your parent account, which you can put toward a future membership, camp, league, or birthday party instead of losing it outright.
Divisions built for players who just want reps as much as for players chasing a title.
Scheduling and officiating handled by our own staff, on our own courts, start to finish.
